Mark Scirto Biography /KLTV7
Since joining KLTV7 in 1987, American meteorologist Mark Scirto has served as the station’s chief meteorologist. In East Texas, he has made a name for himself as a trustworthy weather source.

He can be seen every day at 4, 5, 6, and 10 p.m. on KLTV 7 News. Regarding his schooling, he attended the University of St. Thomas, where he earned a Meteorology degree in 1982. He projected weather for oil rigs and refineries while still a student at Wilkens Weather Technologies.
He stayed till 1987 before leaving to work for KLTV 7 News.
But after four years, he departed KLTV 7 news and began working for Lake Charles’ KPLC-TV Channel 7. He spent three years there as the Chief Meteorologist.
