Career
Cunniff spent 27 years working for various federal agencies, and for eleven of those years, she was a senior executive.
She began her career with the Army Corps of Engineers, at which she was a district ecologist working on water resource projects. She then moved to the Environmental Protection Agency, where she served a variety of roles, including leading oversight of federal water and energy agencies under the National Environmental Policy Act and being the primary EPA liaison to the Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Emerg
