    MIAMI – The Miami Marlins today announced that the team has acquired top prospects C Agustín Ramírez, INF Jared Serna, and INF Abrahan Ramírez from the New York Yankees in exchange for INF/OF Jazz Chisholm Jr.

    Ramírez, 22, is rated as the third-best prospect in the Yankees system by Baseball America, and has slashed .269/.358/.504/.862 (90x335) in 87 games between Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre (29 games) and Double-A Somerset (58 games) in 2024 with 17 doubles, a career-best 20 home runs, and 69 RBI while walking 42 times against 66 strikeouts.

    Signed by the Yankees as an International free agent on July 12, 2018, Ramírez owns a career .981 fielding percentage at the position, a .267 AVG (315x1181), and an .819 OPS in five professional seasons.
